Tony Capullo
Tony Capullo is the founder of Professional Provider Services (PPS), a national consulting firm that has provided regulatory, compliance, audit, and web-based training solutions to Healthcare Organizations across the U.S. Under Tony’s leadership, PPS developed, implemented, and evaluated Corporate Compliance Programs for Healthcare Organizations and served as the Independent Review Organization (IRO) for OIG-imposed Corporate Integrity Agreements. PPS also served as a MEDIC contractor for CMS, where it promoted the integrity of the Medicare program by addressing fraud, waste, and abuse through its detailed approach to identifying problems such as internal control gaps and potentially fraudulent activity.
Mr. Capullo has served as an expert witness on Medicare issues in Tennessee, North Carolina, Mississippi, and Alabama. He served 9 years as a member of the Editorial Board for Report on Medicare Compliance, and has contributed articles to the Aspen Publishers’ Physician Practice Compliance Resource Manual and Strategies for Healthcare Compliance Officers.
Sandalio “Sandy” Perez, MBA-HA
Sandy Perez has over 45 years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management, Hospital Financial and Ambulatory Administration, and Physician Practices Management. He has also served as the Memorial Healthcare System Administrative Director of Physician Practices Operations and is the Owner/President of NOSPAGAN INC., a healthcare and business-consulting firm. Sandy has directed development of Healthcare-specific electronic payment products, staff training, and Revenue Cycle outsourcing IT Healthcare applications.
Mr. Perez also served for over 10 years as Director of Client Development and Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management Consultant for Argent Healthcare Financial Services, Inc. He also concurrently developed fully outsourced business office operations for Mount Sinai-Miami Heart in Miami, Florida, and Selma Regional Medical Center in Selma, Alabama. His experience also includes administering business operations for Memorial Healthcare System’s 200+ physician’s group for over 10 years, serving as a consultant for Physicians in Billing, Collections, and Medicaid Billing, and over 15 years as a Certified Patient Accounts Manager.
Mr. Perez has received his Bachelor’s degree in Health Services Administration, Master of Business Administration degree, and his Graduate Certificate in Health Administration.
Marina Pitina
Marina Pitina has spent ten years working in the Learning Management System (LMS) industry, having worked on countless projects from initial concept to final implementation. This experience includes design theory and integration, courseware development and integration, B2B and B2C marketing, data management and research, and project management. While any aspect of Corporate Branding and Brand Enhancement is within her wheelhouse, she specializes in creating Personalized, Targeted, Data-Driven Digital Training Solutions for her clients. Her degrees in Communications and Linguistics reinforce her ability to make sure that communicating a business’ needs is both effective and efficient.
This experience led Ms. Pitina to create her own company, PixelPop Marketing, to integrate her knowledge and unique skill-set to better serve her clients to promote their brands and maximize the potential of both internal and external Communication and Training services. Ms. Pitina and her team specialize in assisting Small Businesses, Subject Matter Experts, Professionals, and Internal Training Teams to create engaging content, provide extensively researched Marketing Solutions, and maximize the impact of her clients’ Brand and Content to reach their target audience – whether it’s Training Employees or Extending Brand Reach, Ms. Pitina’s leadership and vision come together to create personalized services to help her clients maximize their impact on their Target Audience.
