Compliance Advisory Services

Compliance Advisory Services

Compliance can be time-consuming and might seem overwhelming, but Consolidated Compliance can create a hands-on advisory plan for your organization that includes the right services for your specific needs.

Customized policies and procedures manual

Whether you already have a Compliance Program Manual or are starting a new one, Consolidated Compliance will bring its experience to bear in incorporating proven policies and procedures that coincide with requirements from the OIG and other regulatory bodies.

There’s no need to worry whether your manual is effective or not because our staff has written, audited, and created manuals and procedures for healthcare organizations across the country, and we can do the same for your organization.

An Ongoing Resource For Your Corporate Compliance Officer

A Corporate Compliance Officer (CCO) can get in over their head pretty quickly, that’s why Consolidated Compliance can maintain a presence as an ongoing consultant. We want you to feel confident and secure in the plan that we build, so we can make sure your CCO is never alone or left with unanswered questions about the responsibilities they bear.

Internal Control Analysis

One of the most effective ways to ensure you are protecting your organization and your employees is to have a strong, independently audited Internal Control (IC) system in place. Consolidated Compliance’s experienced auditors will examine your current IC and make sure it stands up to the requirements of the OIG and any other relevant regulatory bodies.

We will help you identify strengths and weaknesses in your program, and provide expert insight and advice about how to correct any deficiencies in your program with systems that are proven to work effectively.

Monthly Guidance And Assistance On All Areas Of Compliance

If you have concerns about meeting Compliance and maintaining your internal Compliance Officer and Compliance Committees, or if you just want to make sure you have expert guidance and support to keep your Program on track, we can help.

With this service, we will check in at least once a month to provide that extra support and assurance to ensure conformity with mandated compliance, or even just to provide peace of mind. This service provides a great opportunity to have the freedom of controlling your own Compliance Program while receiving that extra support where and when you need it most.

Regularly-Scheduled Onsite Compliance Visits

Consolidated Compliance doesn’t just provide remote access to our services and team, we also offer services where one or more of our expert analysts can plan regular visits to your organization’s actual site in order to provide a “boots-on-the-ground” experience if your organization requires more hands-on Compliance Effectiveness analysis.

Developing Organizational Compliance Surveys

A highly visible and widely-enforced Compliance Program ensures that your staff and organization understand and recognize not only the responsibilities that they have to maintain effective Compliance, but also that your organization takes it very seriously.

By developing and conducting Compliance Surveys, Consolidated Compliance will ensure that you know how effective your Compliance Program is and help you to find and strengthen areas where your program might be lacking before they become active problems. Prevention, strengthened by our Compliance Surveys, is the best defense against Noncompliance.

Interim Compliance staffing

Training and selecting a Corporate Compliance Officer and Compliance Committee takes time, and Consolidated Compliance understands that. We offer interim Compliance staffing on a temporary basis, giving you time to hire, train, and optimize your internal Compliance Program.

Since our experts are already established experts in Compliance, you can be assured that the programs put into place during our tenure will be effective, encompassing, and customized to your organization’s specific needs. This means that when your new Compliance staff is ready to go, the set-up will be done and ready for you to manage internally.

Operating Compliance Hotlines

Employees who witness activities that violate company policy can often be concerned about reprimand, loss of employment, retaliation, and more if they report events in the workplace, especially if it involves someone in a superior position to them. Having an external Compliance Hotline provides employees with confidence that they can remain anonymous, and increases the resulting reports of suspicious activity in an organization.

It can be hard to maintain a neutral perspective when a call comes in about someone you thought your organization could trust, and that means that the effectiveness of your Compliance Program can come into question in an audit. Consolidated Compliance can remove that pressure from you and operate your Compliance Hotlines for you, allowing your organization to run effectively and within the Compliance Program parameters.

Performing Independent Compliance Complaint Investigations

Whether you use Consolidated Compliance or another provider for your Compliance Reporting or Hotlines, an external, independent investigation is the best way to assure the investigative bodies that you have identified the Noncompliance, created changes to your Compliance Program to prevent further breaches, and maintain Compliance for future inspections.

Consolidated Compliance has decades of experience with investigating Compliance complaints, concerns, and reports for independent organizations as well as for governmental organizations. That means we know how to make sure we find the problem, help you understand how to fix it, and help you remain Compliant so your organization can keep performing optimally.
